From 12 to 14 March 2024, the Data Space Symposium 2024 was organized in Darmstadt Germany. Over 800 participants joined the summit. The symposium showcased how data spaces can be harnessed across diverse sectors like industry, healthcare, and agriculture to tackle real-world challenges and innovate new solutions. However, unlocking this potential requires coordinated effort between technologists, decision-makers, researchers, consultants and governance experts. 

Unlocking Business Value

The symposium addressed in various workshops the need for discovering business value. Questions like: What is a sustainable business case? How can you create a solid governance model? and How does a good training programme looks like? where brought on the table. Technology and data are 10% of the solution. Enough challenges to solve in the coming years!
